What You’ll DoAs our Safety Manager, you will be the key force driving a proactive, prevention‑focused safety culture across our Operating Company. You’ll work side‑by‑side with leaders in Transportation, Warehouse Operations, HR, and more to ensure our associates, customers, and brand are protected every day.You Will Make an Impact By:Accident Prevention & Safety LeadershipLeading our accident‑prevention strategy with a strong focus on behavior‑based safetyConducting risk analysis, facility observations, ride‑alongs, and safety walksRunning accident review committees and developing corrective action plansDriving engagement in safety programs, near‑miss reporting, and recognition initiativesServing as the SME during serious incidentsTransportation & CDL SafetyOwning DOT and FMCSA compliance, including driver files, HOS, CSA and inspectionsCoaching CDL drivers in safe, compliant driving behaviorsInvestigating vehicle incidents and implementing prevention strategiesLeading post‑accident, random, and reasonable‑suspicion testing programsUsing telematics and dashcam analytics to reduce riskWarehouse & Facility SafetyEnsuring OSHA compliance across all sitesConducting JHAs, audits, and facility safety inspectionsSupporting safe food distribution practices, including cold‑chain and dock safetyRisk Management & Continuous ImprovementManaging Workers’ Compensation from first report through closureLeading investigations for injuries and near‑missesPartnering to control claim costs and improve associate outcomesManaging return‑to‑work and modified‑duty programsTracking and reporting KPIs including TRIR, DART, preventable accidents, and CSA metricsUpdating policies, procedures, and emergency response plansSupporting litigation and documentation requirementsTraining & Culture DevelopmentCreating and delivering engaging safety training for associates and leadersLeading new‑hire safety orientationCoaching frontline leaders to champion safety accountabilityPromoting a “see something, say something” cultureRequiredWhat You BringHigh School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience4–6 years of occupational safety, health management, or related experiencePreferredBachelor’s degree in HR, Environmental Management, Occupational Safety & Health, or related field6–10 years experience in safety management within the Foodservice industryTransportation / Distribution Industry safety experience a plusCertifications such as CSP, ARM, or related credentialsReady to Lead Safety With Purpose?Join a team where your expertise saves injuries, improves operations, and strengthens a culture built on care.
