LEAD DEVOPS ARCHITECT RESPONSIBILITIES Leading the design, strategy, and implementation of the entire software delivery lifecycle to ensure success from beginning to end Optimizing, automating, and implementing new end-to-end workflows Advising stakeholders and guiding development teams in following best practices and contributing to a scalable and secure ecosystem Identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies for improving CI/CD pipelines, build performance, security measures, and software compliance Maintaining detailed architecture, DevOps processes, Dockerfiles, and containerization documentation Integrating security tools for static analysis, dependency scanning, and SBOM generation Automating and refining artifact versioning, storage, and secure distribution processes Implementing robust secrets and credential management solutions and integrating automated testing, code quality analysis, and validation steps into the development lifecycle Advising development teams, reviewing designs, and providing hands-on assistance as needed REQUIREMENTS BS in an engineering or computer science field Proven DevOps experience with a portfolio of designing and implementing CI/CD solutions Extensive Docker experience, including writing optimized Dockerfiles and managing container lifecycles Hands-on experience integrating security tools into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., SAST, DAST, dependency scanning, SBOM generation) Experience with artifact management systems such as JFrog Artifactory, GitHub Packages, or Nexus Expert-level knowledge of GitHub Actions, including workflow creation, custom actions, and optimization Strong scripting skills in languages such as Bash, Python, or Groovy Excellent communication and documentation skills, with the ability to advise technical and non-technical stakeholders Our Ideal Lead DevOps Architect: Proven experience building a CI/CD pipeline in a startup or similarly fast-paced environment Experience using code quality and analysis tools such as SonarCloud, clang-tidy, or include-what-you-use Experience integrating Cl/CD with Jira and Microsoft Teams or Slack CMake experience Familiarity with compiled languages (e.g., C++) and build systems (e.g., CMake) Knowledge of cloud platforms (such as AWS, Azure, or GCP) and related services Take the first step towards becoming our Lead DevOps Architect by completing our short initial application!
