Support individuals with daily living activities and promote their independence. Monitor and document vital signs, ensuring accurate medical records are maintained. Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote mental and emotional well-being. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop individualized care plans. Utilize specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts to ensure safe transfers. Maintain a clean, and safe environment while following infection control protocols. Basic qualifications At least 3 months of similar in-home care experience. Certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Direct Support Worker (DSW), Personal Care Assistant (PCA), or equivalent caregiving experience. Preferred qualifications Experience in long-term care settings such as nursing homes or assisted living facilities. Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology. Background in critical care, hospice care, or geriatrics is highly desirable. Proficiency in phlebotomy and basic life support (BLS) certification.
