By hiring the best people and helping them grow both professionally and personally, we ensure a bright future for NTT DATA Services and for the people who work here.NTT DATA Services currently seeks a SAP Solution Architect to join our team in Carlsbad, California (US-CA), United States (US).Day to Day job Duties: (what this person will do on a daily/weekly basis)Experienced SAP Sales and Distribution Funcitonal expert to work closely with onsite / offshore teams and client funcitonal owners and business users to develop and maintain application interfaces, reports, conversion programs, custom functionality and enhancement for projects.Responsibilities:Work closely with functional owners in developing detaild functional specifications. Work closely with ABAP developers to develop and maintain application interfaces, reports, conversion programs, and custom functionality and enhancements Responsible to work closely with technical Teams to determine optimal programming solutions to issues. Help design, code, test, debug, and document program. Foster and maintain good relationships with customers and IT colleagues to meet expected customer service levels Monitor and report to management on the status of project efforts, anticipating/identifying issues that inhibit the attainment of project goals and implementing corrective actions Provide technical insight to less experienced developers in the areas of performance, customization, and programming conventions and standardsBasic Qualifications: (what are the skills required to this job with minimum years of experience on each)5-7 years of Functional experience in SAP FI / OC other related modulesExperience in integrating other SAP Modules like MM / PP and FI / COVery good working knowledge of EDI and IDoc functionalityAbility to unit test development, work clsoely with buseinss in requirement managment / gathering, writing detailed functional specificaiton, manage user expectations and work closely withe cross functional teams to get the job done.HLS Industry Experience desired.Strong hands on experience in SAP Sales and Distributon modules and integration with other modules like SAP MM / PP and FI / COIDOC and EDI functionalityTravel:Need localsDegree: Bachelors in Computer Science or equivalent work experienceNice to Have; (But not a must)S/4 Experience not a must have but preferableThis position is only available to those interested in direct staff employment opportunities with NTT DATA, Inc. or its subsidiaries.Please note, 1099 or corp-2-corp contractors or the equivalent will NOT be considered.
