Basic Qualifications Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent, with a minimum of 3 years of professional experience or Master’s degree Strong electronic systems design, integration, testing, and excellent troubleshooting skills Experience using standard Test Equipment including Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, and Oscilloscopes Demonstrated effective communication skills Domestic travel will be required Ability to obtain and maintain an active Secret clearance, thus US Citizenship is requiredJob DescriptionLockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control in Grand Prairie, Texas is seeking a Flight Termination System (FTS) engineer to support design, missile integration, and flight tests for an Advanced Program.What You Will Be DoingYou will be a Flight Termination System (FTS) Engineer on a challenging, advanced development program. The effort encompasses the full lifecycle of development from initial requirements definition, component design, integration, flight test, and production. Tasks will include a variety of component electrical design, software/firmware, and system integration. Some integration with telemetry components may be required. Candidate should have a BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or related Engineering discipline. The position requires strong electronic systems knowledge, integration, testing, and excellent troubleshooting skills. Candidate will work on a cross-functional team and coordinate with internal/external Customers and Range Safety Officers (RSO). Domestic travel will be required 10%.
