The achievers and courageous challenge-crushers we seek, have the following characteristics and skillsWhat You Will DoDirect production support of CNC machine shop manufacturing floor.Translate engineering design requirements into formal manufacturing process documentation including raw material definition, fixturing/tooling development, CNC programming, inspection planning, finishing requirements, and assembly instructionsDrive process improvements using data analysis, application of best practices, and by implementing innovative solutions to improve process capability and decrease costDesign, control, and improve the manufacturing process through collaboration with a multi-disciplined teamPerform process development on new product introductions in support of accelerated time to marketOptimize CNC programs using machining modeling and analysis tools Lead continuous improvement initiatives and document standard methodologies and standard work for CNC machiningProvide technical expertise reviewing metrology and statistical process control (SPC) dataUtilize Siemens NX CAM and/or Creo CAD/CAM Software to programMentor teammates in cutting edge machining methods and toolsValidate NC programs using CGTech Vericut and Cimco EditWhat You Will BringTypically requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Aerospace Engineering8+ years of experience developing 4+ axis CNC machining programs for metal partsAdvanced knowledge of high-speed machining techniques, cutting tool technology, and machine tool capabilities to develop best in class CNC programsAbility to properly apply and interpret standard and geometric dimensions and tolerancesStrong working knowledge of CNC machine tool capability, fixture design, and macro programmingDemonstrated experience with PFMEA, SPC, shop floor process monitoring, data collection and adaptive methods5 Axis CNC programming experienceCompetency in NX CAM supporting medium to complex CNC programsDemonstrated working knowledge of Creo CAD/CAM SoftwareProcess familiarity with paint, plating, and structural assemblyPay Range: $57.70/hour - $66.35/hourCompensation decisions are made based on factors including experience, skills, education, and other job-related factors, in accordance with our internal pay structure.
