Operations Associate
Operations Associate – The individual will rotate across key operational functions, gaining broad exposure to the investment lifecycle, infrastructure, and client servicing. This role will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of portfolio data, supporting the lifecycle of client accounts from onboarding through ongoing maintenance, client reporting, and contribute to our automation and modernizing business processes initiatives. Over time, the individual will gain a solid and deep understanding of the operations of an institutional investment business. Westfield will provide training and continuing education to support their growth.QualificationsThe individual should possess:An interest in the investment management industry and willingness to learnStrong organizational skills and be detail orientedA team-oriented mindset and be a self-starterStrong time-management and the ability to effectively prioritize workflows with competing deadlinesGood follow-through and communication skills with both internal and external contactsProficiency in Microsoft Office applications and the ability to learn and adapt to other types of softwareExperience with generative AI tools and prompt engineeringBachelor’s DegreeResponsibilitiesThe position will encompass the following responsibilities:Execute daily operational workflows supporting Reconciliation, Trade Settlement, Portfolio Associates, Books & Records, and Proxy VotingEnsure accuracy and timeliness of trade processing, reconciliation, and client reportingSupport data integrity across systems including portfolio accounting and CRM platformsAssist in managing relationships with custodians, vendors, and third-party service providersHelp document, test, and monitor automated processes and new workflows to ensure accuracy, consistency, and strong operational controlsLeverage AI tools and emerging technologies to support data analysis, process optimization, and task automationCompensation and BenefitsThe salary range for this role is $62,000- $75,000. This is the lowest to highest salary we, in good faith, expect to pay for this role at the time of this posting. Actual compensation may be higher or lower than the posted range, and ranges may be modified in the future. An employee’s position within the range will be determined based on several factors including, but not limited to: relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, business sector, performance, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, market benchmarking data, and organizational needs. This role is also eligible for incentive compensation (e.g., annual bonus), which, together with base salary and retirement contributions, forms part of our total comprehensive package.
