Junior Software Developer

May require a bachelor's degree in a related area and 0-3 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Has knowledge of standard concepts, practices and procedures within a particular field. Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. A certain degree of creativity and latitude required. Typically reports to a project leader or manager. Responsibilities: Develop, test and implement new software programs Clearly and regularly communicate with management and technical support colleagues Design and update software database. This includes, but is not limited to: Software Applications, Web Sites, Data Communication Processes and User Interfaces Test, maintain and recommend software improvements to ensure strong functionality and optimization Independently install, customize and integrate commercial software packages Facilitate root cause analysis of system issues Job Types: Full-time, Contract Salary: $65,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year Schedule: 8 hour shift Ability to commute/relocate: Slidell, LA 70461: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (Required) Education: Bachelor's (Required) Work Location: In person
