Staff Full-Stack Product Engineer Full-time / Direct Hire100% Remote (US & Canada): unable to provide sponsorship at this time$150,000 – $250,000 base salary, depending on experience and location, plus meaningful equity, and health benefitsAbout the Company: One of the teams I support is a well-funded, early-stage fintech company modernizing financial operations for a large B2B industry that has historically relied on manual, paper-based processes. Their platform is live today, helping businesses manage invoicing, reconciliation, and payments with their suppliers, and they're now scaling both the product and the team around it.Project / Role Overview: This is a mix of new feature development and n-to-1 scaling. The team is past the 0-to-1 stage and needs someone who can build net-new product surfaces while helping existing systems hold up as usage grows. You'll be equally hands-on with UI/UX craft and backend architecture, taking complex, data-intensive systems and distilling them into something both powerful and easy to use, not just functional.Required Skills and Experience: 8+ years of hands-on experience as a senior contributor on teams that ship production softwareTrue full-stack generalist, comfortable across a full-stack Ruby on Rails stackPrior experience working at a hyper-growth or high-growth startup through their scaling phaseTrack record of taking complex systems and simplifying them into intuitive product experiencesHigh ownership mindset and comfort working without a dedicated PMNice to Have Experience: Building software that enables money movement or digitizes paper-based processesContributions to open-source projects or other pro bono development workPlease note we are unable to offer employer sponsorship for this role.
