Position Summary:We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Supply Chain Intern to support material planning and supply chain operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This internship is ideal for someone looking to build a foundation in supply chain, procurement, and data analysis. The Supply Chain Intern will work closely with cross-functional teams to help ensure material availability, support cost tracking, and improve overall supply chain efficiency. This position is 100% onsite.About The JobLocation: Milpitas, CA [Onsite]Employment type: InternshipDepartment: Supply ChainReport To: Supply Chain ManagerResponsibilities:Support material planning and shortage analysis across active programsTrack and follow up on supplier commits (ETD/ETA) to ensure continuity of supplyAnalyze inventory, excess & obsolete (E&O), and demand alignmentAssist in cost tracking (PPV, freight, sourcing options)Coordinate with cross-functional teams (purchasing, planning, logistics, warehouse)Build and maintain Excel, Power BI, or other business analysis tools to optimize processesSupport expedite actions and recovery plans for critical shortagesRequirements:Education/QualificationCurrently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related fieldExperienceHas internship experience in related field is a plusSkills/CompetenciesSoft Skills:Strong attention to detail and organizationClear communication and teamworkGood time management and prioritizationProblem-solving and critical thinkingAdaptability in a fast-paced environmentProactive, reliable, and eager to learnTechnical Skills:Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, data analysis)Basic knowledge of supply chain and inventory planning conceptsFamiliarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is a plusExperience with Power BI or data visualization tools is a plusAbility to analyze data and generate reportsBasic understanding of cost tracking (PPV, freight) is a plusThe expected pay rate for this position is $22.00 - $25.00 depending on specific skills and work experience.
