School Based Virtual Facilitator
POSITION TITLE2341 SCHOOL-BASED VIRTUAL LEARNING FACILITATOR GENERAL DEFINITION AND CONDITIONS OF WORKSuffolk Public Schools seeks a School-Based Virtual Learning Classroom Facilitator that has a strong classroom presence, with the ability to manage a classroom (in-person) in order to foster a positive learning environment to set students up for success as they receive instruction using a virtual platform. The ideal facilitator will also be comfortable using a variety of technology platforms to support student learning.This is sedentary work requiring the exertion of up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to move objects; work requires crouching, reaching, standing, walking, lifting, grasping, and repetitive motions; vocal communication is required for expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word; hearing is required to perceive information at normal spoken word levels; visual acuity is required for preparing and analyzing written or computer data, operation of motor vehicles or equipment, determining the accuracy and thoroughness of work; the worker is not subject to adverse environmental conditions.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/TYPICAL TASKSThis position description is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties, knowledge or skills.
