Manufacturing Engineer Internship

Curbell, Inc. has a Part Time Manufacturing Engineer Internship available for Summer 2026 (May- August). The internship duration is approximately 10 weeks, with flexible scheduling of 20-30 hours per week.Curbell's internship program provides students the opportunity to gain practice, challenging and meaningful on-the-job experience. The Internship experience varies depending on the department, but will offer a unique opportunity within the corporate workforce for Junior or Senior students pursuing a degree in Manufacturing Engineering or a related field. From the start, interns are challenged to demonstrate their strengths and apply their knowledge to help us achieve our business strategy.As an intern you will:Support manufacturing engineering initiatives through hands-on project work focused on production efficiency, organization, and Lean methodologiesAssist in developing and improving build instructions, including creating supporting video content for training and standardizationContribute to the design and implementation of Kanban systems to enhance inventory control and workflow managementParticipate in ergonomics assessments to help optimize workstation design and improve safety and productivityCollaborate closely with Manufacturing Engineers and technicians to gain real-world experience in a production environmentApply Lean manufacturing tools and principles to drive continuous improvement efforts across operations
