Katz JCC Early AM LifeguardThe Katz JCC Early AM Lifeguard provides supervision for the JCC pools and assures the safety of the patrons of the indoor/outdoor swimming pool and surrounding areas.Hours: Monday - Sunday 3PM - 10PMJob Responsibilities:Lifeguard the assigned pool/areaMaintain proper records of pool chemicalsReport any pool chemical changes to a supervisorMaintain the pool and deck area at all times (clean/safe)Assist the pool members in any way necessary to ensure both their safety and an enjoyable visit to the JCC poolIn the event of an emergency, it may be necessary to fill out accident reports and pool records, this must be done in a timely fashion and reported to a supervisorTo maintain Lifeguard / First Aid / CPR / AED training and to use these skills when necessaryAttend all mandatory in-service trainingsAdditional responsibilities may be added periodically based upon the needs of the F&W department or the Katz JCCRequired Experience:American Red Cross Life Guarding certificationCPR / AED & First Aid certificationsEEO Statement: The Jewish Federation of Southern New Jersey, and our family of agencies, is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
