As we continue to grow, we are seeking a detail-oriented QA/QC Field Inspector - Plumbing to help ensure our installations meet company standards, project specifications, and industry codes.Position SummaryThe QA/QC Field Inspector - Plumbing is responsible for inspecting plumbing installations in the field to verify compliance with project plans, specifications, codes, and Charlotte Mechanical quality standards. This role works closely with field supervisors, project managers, and trade personnel to identify deficiencies, promote best practices, and ensure high-quality installations from underground through final completion.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform field inspections of plumbing installations at various stages of constructionVerify work complies with project drawings, specifications, manufacturer requirements, and applicable plumbing codesIdentify quality issues, installation errors, and non-conformance itemsDocument inspection findings and communicate corrective actions to field supervisors and project teamsCoordinate with project managers, superintendents, and foremen to resolve quality issuesAssist in maintaining consistent QA/QC standards across multiple projectsSupport jobsite readiness for inspections by general contractors and authorities having jurisdictionPromote safe work practices and adherence to company safety policies Requirements 5-10 years of plumbing field experienceStrong knowledge of plumbing systems and installation practicesAbility to read and interpret plumbing drawings, specifications, and submittalsExcellent attention to detail and problem-solving skillsGood communication and documentation skillsAbility to work independently and manage multiple job sitesMust have a clean criminal backgroundMust pass a pre-employment drug screenMust have a clean driving recordPreferred QualificationsPrior QA/QC, supervisory, or inspection experienceFamiliarity with local plumbing codes and inspection processesOSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification Benefits401(k) retirement planMedical, Dental, and Vision InsurancePaid VacationPaid Holidays
