The Data Verification Representative is responsible for following up on missing information needed to process samples for analysis and to complete the billing cycle for claim submission. The Data Verification Representative will coordinate with clients through phone calls, emails, and fax to obtain missing/invalid sample information. He or she is responsible for efficiently inputting patient, client-related, insurance, and ICD-10 Diagnosis coding data in the Laboratory Information Management System. He or she will conduct follow-up communications with the internal Sales Team, Specimen Collectors, and clinics to ensure complete documentation for billing purposes. He or She will also maintain relationships with customers to achieve 100% completion of missing information and provide troubleshooting support to Remote Processing.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesFollow-up on Missing Information Contact accounts to recover missing/invalid information via phone, email, or faxSearch and update:Horizon record once missing information has been recovered CareEvolve records, as needed, once missing information has been recoveredDocument all communications with customers as per SOP; maintain confidentiality of PHI Report customer escalations to leadership as needed to coordinate follow up Manage the missing information dashboardContact customers to recover missing/invalid information via Phone, email, or Fax for outstanding missing informationMissing Requisitions/Mis-scansSearch for and update missing requisitions due to mis-scans Successful Candidates Must PossessA high school diploma or GED is required; bachelor’s degree preferredWith a high school diploma/GED, a minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience required; with a bachelor’s degree, no experience requiredProject management skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office programs required; especially strong skills in ExcelProven track record of meeting deadlines and prioritizing workloadsStrong communication and organizational skills and the ability to interact and maintain strong working relationships with all levels of team members and clients requiredStrong customer service skills, with the ability to handle client needs appropriatelyAbility to use good judgment and work independentlyStrong analytical skills and sense of urgencyAbility to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment Position schedule/hours: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM CDT - 4:30 PM CDTAegis Sciences Corporation is an Equal Opportunity Employer
