Screen Repair Tech (Part-Time)

POSITION SUMMARY: The Screen Repair Associate will repair screens, drive delivery vehicles, and uphold the Core Values as determined by the management team. A friendly customer-first attitude and the ability to work well with others is required to be successful in this role. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of urgency and a keen eye for accuracy and completeness in their work. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Measure the frame to determine the amount of screen needed for repair Replace the plastic/aluminum corners and any bent or damaged frame parts Determine the cost of the repair job based on the amount of supplies used Manage the inventory of all raw materials Follow safety measures and maintain a clean workspace Report any customer satisfaction issues to the General Manager Any additional duties assigned by a manager REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Ability to read and interpret safety/procedure manuals and instructions Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent Must be able to communicate effectively and professionally with co-workers and customers WORK ENVIRONMENT: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those encountered while performing the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, Associates may occasionally work near moving mechanical parts. Associates may also work in all weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Lift and move up to 50 pounds Stand for extended periods of time Use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls Reach with hands and arms Stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl POSITION REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma or equivalent Willingness to acquire product knowledge and repair techniques
