To also support the Director of Language Acquisition and Site Administrator in providing academic services to all English Language Learners, with the primary focus on maximizing scholar achievement for all Cartwright scholars.QUALIFICATIONSValid Arizona Teaching CertificateA minimum of 5 years of teaching experience with excellent evaluationsHold a current BLE, ESL or SEI endorsementDemonstrates knowledge of Arizona Learning Standards, AZ English Language Proficiency Standards and district-adopted curriculum and instructional materialsDemonstrates strong knowledge of 21st century technology or willingness to learnDemonstrates knowledge of and works effectively in a professional learning communityDemonstrates high levels of competency for planning and delivering staff developmentDemonstrates high levels of competency for working with teachers during planning of lessons at grade level and appropriate rigorDemonstrates knowledge of a wide range of assessments and use of data information systems-including creating data walls in order to support continuous school improvementDemonstrates knowledge of English Language Development (ELD) and proficiency in teaching as evidenced by principal's evaluations and 3 or more years of high student achievement.
