Senior Network Engineer

Overview We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Network Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex network infrastructures. This is a critical role that requires a deep understanding of network protocols, security, and technologies. The Senior Network Engineer will work closely with our IT team to ensure the integrity and performance of our network systems. Responsibilities - Design and implement network architectures that support our organization's business needs. - Configure and maintain network devices, including routers, switches, and firewalls. - Troubleshoot network issues and optimize network performance. - Implement and manage network security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and virtual private networks (VPNs). - Develop and maintain network documentation, including diagrams, configuration files, and technical guides. - Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration with other systems. - Stay up-to-date with the latest network technologies and best practices. Experience - At least 5 years of experience as a network engineer or in a related field. - In-depth knowledge of network protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and SSL. - Experience with network monitoring tools, such as vSphere and Meraki. - Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience working in an Agile environment. - Proficiency in Java and Solaris. - Experience with Citrix and vaticinate. - Experience with IDS and network security best practices. Skills - Network monitoring and troubleshooting. - vSphere and other virtualization platforms. - SSL and other encryption technologies. - Agile project management. - Solaris and other Unix-based operating systems. - Meraki and other network management tools. - Citrix and other virtual private network (VPN) technologies. - vaticinate and other network analytics tools. - IDS and other network security technologies. - Java and other programming languages. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
