This role is personally accountable for ensuring that all client-facing services - applications, integrations, data systems, mobile deployments, and AI-enabled solutions—meet defined standards of technical excellence prior to release. Operating partner contexts, the Technical Delivery Lead ensures production readiness, contractual alignment, data integrity, and systemic quality enforcement. Success in this role requires strong engineering judgment, calm leadership under pressure, comfort operating in ambiguity, and the ability to work across clients and teams.What You’ll Be DoingRelease Authority & Production ReadinessServe as final technical sign-off prior to client-facing releasesValidate production readiness across multiple teamsConfirm defined release criteria are satisfied before final handoffEnsure performance, security, data integrity, and observability standards are metQuality Systems & CI/CD GovernanceEstablish and evolve release quality standards across servicesEnsure automated test coverage is meaningful and enforcedValidate CI/CD pipelines enforce architectural, security, and regression policiesConfirm rollback strategies, feature flag safeguards, and progressive deployment practices are in placeStrengthen systemic quality guardrails following incidentsClient-Facing Technical StewardshipParticipate regularly in client calls (milestones, releases, escalations, architecture reviews)Communicate technical risk clearly and crediblyExplain tradeoffs in accessible languageProvide steady technical leadership during incidentsStrengthen client confidence in delivery rigorService-Level & Contractual AlignmentEnsure work aligns with defined service boundaries and SOW agreementsIdentify when requests exceed sustainment scopeProtect operational commitments (mobile releases, compliance, security posture)Reduce reactive escalation through proactive quality enforcementCommunication and AlignmentClearly communicate technical decisions, tradeoffs, and progress to technical and non-technical stakeholders.Contribute documentation and shared understanding across teams.Support program managers in aligning scope, timelines, and expectations.What We’re Looking For8+ years of experience in software engineering, technical delivery, or production system ownershipProven experience owning and approving production releasesStrong understanding of CI/CD systems, automated testing, and deployment governancePractical experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred)Familiarity with modern full-stack architecturesPrior client-facing technical experienceDemonstrated history of improving quality systems at a structural levelBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent professional experienceJob Location: Hybrid - Orlando, FLCompensation: $119-146kOur Team Members EnjoyCompetitive compensation and discretionary performance bonus commensurate with experienceFlexible PTO policy and state-compliant sick leave to support your well-beingMedical, Dental, and Vision plans with up to 90% coverage for employeesGenerous employer HSA contributions for HDHP electionsEmployer-sponsored 401k program with a 2% employer matchLearning & Development stipend available after 6 months of employmentPaid Parental LeaveA dynamic, talented team, dedicated to changing the world and building an incredible businessOnsite and virtual social events to keep us connected in our hybrid work environmentApplicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
