Candidates must meet Miami Dade College Faculty Credential Statement faculty teaching qualifications, including SACSCOC's Principles of Accreditation minimum criteria: A Master's degree in the teaching discipline of the assigned course(s) or a Master's degree and at least 18 graduate credit hours in the teaching discipline of the assigned course(s).What you will be doingProvides classroom instructionParticipates in curriculum development and revisionAssess the curriculum against state and national standardsSupervises field experiences and/or internshipServes as a resource for faculty members and other program areasServes on school, campus and College committeesRecruits and advises studentsPerforms other duties as assignedWhat you need to succeedMaster's degree in Education, or Master's degree and 18 graduate semester hours in EducationAll educational degrees must be from a regionally accredited institutionPossess excellent communication skills (Verbal and Written)Must demonstrate ability to communicate effectively with studentsMust be able to work well with students, faculty, staff and the communityAbility to work a flexible schedule that may include evening and weekend assignmentsPreferencesTeaching experience at college or community college level preferredFor best consideration upload your unofficial transcripts along with cover letter and resume.
