**PCU UNIT with 1:4 ratios. OPEN TO UTILIZING ICU RNs.** IN STATE LICENSE / REQUIRED CERTS MUST BE IN HAND TO SUB *5 off bill rate for travelers who reside within 50 miles of their assigned IU Health Facility First Time Travelers Accepted: Yes Shift Requirements: 3x12 NIGHTS. Every other weekend required. Certification Requirements: ACLS, BCLS, NIH required. Skillset Requirements: Telemetry and cardiac drips required. Conscious sedation preferred Floating Requirements: Yes - MedSurg - may take 6 patients Minimum Experience Required: 1.5 years Staffing Ratios: 1:4 Unit Information: Cardiac: NSTEMI, Angina, Pre/Post Pacemaker, Pre/Post Cardiac Cath, CHF, HTN Respiratory: COVID, COPD, PE, Trach, Pneumonia, Chest tubes, Asthma, Emphysema Neuro: Status epilepticus, CVA/TIA Mental Health: active Alcohol Withdrawal with treatment GI/GU: GIB, Pancreatitis, Bowel Obstruction, acute/chronic liver patients, CBI, Diaysis (peritoneal & Hemo- treatment performed by Davita Nurse) Endo: DKA, IDDM, NIDDM Geriatric, Sickle Cell Anemia Cardioversions, 12-Lead EKG, Cardia Monitors Drips: Cardizem, Heparin, Insulin, Dopamine, Dobutamine, Tests: Phlebotomy (lab collection), ABG via I Stat Effective 9/1, the COVID vaccine is required for all travelers at IU Health campuses. Declinations will not be accepted; however medical or religious exemptions will be accepted with a doctor's note provided.
