This role also provides the opportunity to expand your skill set by supporting additional accounting functions, making it a great learning opportunity for someone looking to grow their career.Responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Specialist:Review and approve invoices and vouchers for paymentThe AP Specialist will prepare invoice deduction notices as neededRespond to vendor inquiries and maintain strong vendor relationshipsAnalyze vendor accounts and assist with negotiating payment terms when necessaryPrepare and process accounts payable checks and paymentsThe AP Specialist will maintain organized AP files and documentationGenerate and review accounts payable reportsAssist with account analysis and reconciliationsSupport monthly close processesAssist with accounts receivable and special projects as neededPreferred Experience for the Accounts Payable Specialist:At least 6 months of accounts payable or related accounting experienceStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsExcellent written and verbal communication abilitiesSolid computer and data entry skillsAbility to work both independently and in a team environment
