Material Handler – 2nd Shift

*Material Handler – 2nd Shift* *Location:* Grand Rapids, MI *Pay:* $20.00/hour W2 *Schedule:* Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM–11:00 PM We are seeking a reliable *Material Handler* to support production and manufacturing operations. This position is responsible for supplying production areas with materials, moving inventory, operating material-handling equipment and accurately recording inventory transactions. *Responsibilities:* * Supply production and staging areas with packaging and manufacturing materials * Transport materials using forklifts and hand trucks * Retrieve and return bins, drums and other materials * Record material movements, lot numbers and quantities * Perform inventory transactions, reconciliations and transfers * Follow established SOPs, GMPs and safety procedures * Assist with department and production-line cleaning * Work closely with production, warehouse and quality teams *Qualifications:* * High school diploma or GED * Experience working in a *GMP or SOP-driven manufacturing environment* * Basic computer skills * Experience with automated inventory tracking systems * Basic math skills * Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English * Forklift experience preferred * Previous Material Handler experience in a production environment preferred * SAP inventory experience preferred *Training:* Candidates should be available to train on *1st Shift, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM*, until training is completed. Candidates who cannot complete first-shift training are still encouraged to apply. Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour Work Location: In person
