Behavior Consultant
Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Behavior Consultant to join our growing team. In this role, you will provide evidence based behavioral therapy services to children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder. You will guide families through personalized treatment plans, support meaningful progress, and help improve overall quality of life. Responsibilities
Conduct diagnostic evaluations and intake assessments to identify individual needs and develop tailored treatment plans
Implement behavioral interventions based on applied behavior analysis principles
Collect, analyze, and document data to track progress and guide treatment decisions
Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure consistent support across settings
Provide training and coaching on behavioral strategies, communication techniques, and behavior management
Maintain accurate documentation, including progress notes and treatment summaries, in accordance with HIPAA requirements
Complete ongoing patient assessments and adjust interventions as needed
Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and supervision to support high quality care
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in psychology, special education, social work, or related field
ABA training or certification (BCBA, LBS, RBT, or similar) preferred
Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly autism
Strong knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques, data collection, and assessment practices
Familiarity with medical documentation requirements and confidentiality standards
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with diverse populations
Experience in behavioral health or special education settings is highly desirable
Position Requirements
Minimum of 25 billable hours per week required
Employees receive 24 total days off per year
