Buchanan Marine Welder/ Utility Team Job SummaryBarge inspections external and internal inspections, Repairs of barges, dewatering of barges, cleaning and maintenance of the barges. Working with the tugboats and crews on various task, maintain the yard and equipment, work on mooring buoys changing lines, reconditioning of mooring buoys, keeping the work boat clean and maintained properly, working lines on the boat, maintaining a stock of lines for the tugboats and barges, must be flexible with job duties tasked with that day.MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIESRepair BargesClean and Maintenance upkeep of the bargesWorking lines on a tugboatKeeping the boat cleanMust be flexible.Needed SkillsAble to life up to 40 poundsHigh School Diploma/GED required.Travel may be required periodically.
