Our team in Chicago includes 39 investment professionals and 195 total employees.Role SummaryThis role is responsible for managing the firm's Enterprise Infrastructure and providing enablement solutions which include Microsoft Cloud (Azure), M365 Suite, Digital Workplace enablement, and integrated application systems. Infrastructure availability, resiliency, and innovation is at the core of our Technology at Harris. We are looking for an experienced engineer who has proven and successful on premise to Microsoft Cloud (O365 and Azure) migrations. We are looking for a candidate who also has experience with supporting technologies such as load-balancing, disaster recovery, storage, infrastructure as code, and identity management.In addition, this individual will be part of the Security Operations team supporting all aspects of our Cyber Security Program. Security will be a big part of this role through all aspects of infrastructure deployment with responsibilities also including patching and vulnerability remediation.Duties & ResponsibilitiesLead in the planning, design, implementation, and support of Azure Cloud and on-prem infrastructureResponsible for implementation and support of Corporate Enterprise Messaging and surrounding systems (i.e. MS Teams, MS Exchange, Mimecast, Proofpoint, and Symantec DLP email servers)Experience with design and deployments of Server farms and service environments in the Cloud (i.e Linux, MSFT, IaaS, PaaS)Maintenance and evolution of Identity management (i.e. Active Directory, Cisco Client, InTune)Lead in the planning, design, implementation, and support (including patching and config changes) of our VMWare infrastructure, including SRM and EMC RecoverPoint replication technologiesRequirements5+ years' technical solutions implementation, architecture, evaluation, and investigation in AzureStrong knowledge of MS Exchange, Azure Active Directory, Storage, M365 suiteExperience leading on premise data center to Cloud migrations for infrastructure and applicationsExperience with Infrastructure monitoring and SRE practicesLeadership experience managing small teamsNice to HavesStrong experience with several infrastructure and security technologies/toolsExperience using JIRA and Service Now systemsAbility to solve complex business process through technology solutions in Prod, UAT, and DEV environmentsProven ability to self-manage small to medium sized projects and proven excellent communication (written and verbal) skills
