Regional Summer School Teacher (All Content Areas, Including Special Education)

Position OverviewCiTi BOCES is seeking certified, student-centered Teachers in all content areas to provide high-quality instruction for Regional Summer School students in grades 9-12. Teachers will deliver targeted, standards-aligned instruction to support student credit recovery, improve foundational skills, and promote successful course completion.We welcome applicants from all 7-12 certification areas, including:English Language ArtsMathematicsScience (Living Environment, Earth Science, Chemistry, Physics)Social Studies Also, seeking applications certified in: Special EducationPhysical Education ResponsibilitiesProvide daily instruction aligned with New York State Learning StandardsSupport diverse learners, including students with IEPs and 504 plansManage classroom routines and behaviors to ensure a safe, positive learning environmentAssess student progress and provide ongoing feedbackMaintain accurate attendance and grade recordsCommunicate with administrators and staff regarding student needsParticipate in required orientation and training sessionsFulfill all duties associated with summer school procedures, expectations, and timelines Locations:APW Junior/Senior High SchoolG.
