Partner, People and CultureAR Bentonville - Bentonville, AR 72713DescriptionReturnPro is looking for a result-driven, team and detail-oriented, organized People and Culture Partner. The P&C Partner is responsible for forming partnerships with teammates and managers across the P&C function to deliver value-added service to management and teammates that reflect the business objectives of the organization.Primary Responsibilities/Essential Functions:This job description in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed by the teammate occupying this position.Consults with the location manager, providing HR guidance when appropriateAnalyzes trends and metrics in partnership to develop solutions for assigned locationsManages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough, and objective investigationsConducts new hire orientationsProvides day-to-day performance management guidance to location management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions)Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retentionProvides HR policy guidance and interpretationDevelops contract terms for new hires, promotions, and transfersProvides guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning, and succession planningParticipates in evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure success. Follows up to ensure training objectives are metPerforms other related duties as assignedQualificationsBachelor's degree preferredSHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential or ability to obtain certification within one year of employmentWorking knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee and union relations, diversity, performance management, and federal and state respective employment lawsAbility to comprehend, interpret, and apply the appropriate sections of applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, ordinances, and policiesAbility to acquire a thorough understanding of the organization's hierarchy, jobs, qualifications, compensation practices, and the administrative practices related to those factorsSelf-motivated in achieving goals and completing routine tasksExcellent analytical problem-solving skills when faced with new challengesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skillsExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentialityProficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related softwareStrong time management and project management skillsAbility to work independently, multi-task, and deliver quality work in an efficient mannerAbility to manage competing prioritiesAbility to succeed in a team environment
