We're building a lean, collaborative team where every individual has a massive impact and we look for builders who are passionate about robotics and live for the challenge of making systems work in messy, complex environments.The RoleWe're hiring an Integration Engineering Manager to lead the on-site team responsible for bringing our data collection infrastructure to life inside the Rivian manufacturing facility in Normal, IL. This is a deeply technical, deeply hands-on leadership role: you'll own everything from reviewing station CAD and planning camera layouts to commissioning hardware and keeping stations running around the clock.You'll serve as the primary technical bridge between Mind Robotics HQ and plant operations - the person who can walk a factory floor in the morning, solve a network failure by noon, and review a fixture design by end of day.What You'll OwnOnsite Technical Lead - Partner with Rivian Shop Managers and technical leads.Station Design & Deployment - Review station CAD to plan data capture. Own station rollout: designing custom fixtures, procurement, installation, and commissioningTeam Leadership & Uptime - Manage a team of Field Techs and other Integration Engineers responsible for 24/7 station uptime. Serve as the escalation point for all on-site hardware, network, and operational failuresCultural Leader - Build a culture of rigor and ownership on the technical team - fast diagnosis, clean fixes, no finger-pointingQualifications5+ years in manufacturing engineering, systems integration, or a closely related fieldHands-on experience with industrial networking and hardware deployment at scaleProven track record managing technical teams in factory environmentsComfortable designing and working from CAD; able to translate plans into real-world installationsStrong instincts for hardware troubleshooting - you can diagnose a failure fast and communicate the fix clearlyExcellent cross-functional communicator: equally effective with HQ engineers and plant floor managers
