This will work to support implementation of the PBNA EHS Management System at the Denver, CO Manufacturing & Warehouse (M&W) location. The ideal candidate will be a subject matter expert in employee safety and environmental regulations as well as have OSHA, EPA, and DOT compliance experience and be highly skilled at implementing processes that will lead to sustained EHS performance improvements.ResponsibilitiesThis person is responsible for deploying, implementing, and leading the EHS agenda by supporting the location manufacturing teams with integration of safety and environmental programs, Workers' Compensation, prevention efforts, and regulatory compliance into everyday work life. The EHS Senior Representative has responsibility to analyze accident data and develop and implement actionable safety/environmental solutions. The candidate is expected to provide collaborative, proactive, and creative problem-solving abilities to develop best-in-class EHS programs for the improvement of the overall strategy and EHS management system.Implement, execute, ensure compliance with the Pepsi - North American Beverages EHS policies and procedures, and all federal, state, and local OSHA/EPA/DOT regulations (i.e. Lockout, Haz Com, Machine Safety, SARA, RCRA, etc.)Manage local EHS budgetLead the development and implementation of the EHS Annual Operating Plans and EHS Action Plans for the locationAchieve annual targets rates for Lost Time, Recordable, Severity, and EnvironmentalEnsure compliance with applicable federal and state occupational safety and environmental regulationsDevelop, implement, execute, and manage strategies to prevent workplace injuries, environmental incidentsDemonstrate solid employee relations experience, interpersonal and verbal/written communication skillsDisplay strong problem solving, organizational and analytical skillsDemonstrate professional maturity and ability to act as a change leader by influencing all levels of the organization to drive continuous improvement in safety performanceConduct EHS activities such as training/auditing/assessing to ensure ongoing compliance with regulatory agency requirements, Zero Zone Management System standards, Emergency Response and internal PepsiCo EHS proceduresPerform risk assessments and assist in the implementation of effective physical and/or behavioral control measures. Recognize and verify the effectiveness of in-place control measuresIdentify unsafe equipment operation and conditions while demonstrating knowledge of appropriate corrective action for unsafe conditions or equipment useExercise a leadership, coordination, and communication role with the location leadership to drive continuous EHS improvement across the locationComplete root cause analyses and develop corrective action plans to address root basic causes and management system weak-spots through the use of industry-recognized cause analysis techniquesCompensation and Benefits:The expected compensation range for this position is between $80,200 - $134,250.Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary.
