Chief Tax Strategist

Chief Tax Strategist Remote (U.S.) or San Francisco We are working with a well-funded AI startup at the post-development stage, preparing to bring its first product to market. This is a ground-floor opportunity in indirect tax to join the business at a critical point and help take a new solution into the tax market. The Role This is the first tax hire and a highly visible position within the organization. The company is seeking an individual with an entrepreneurial mindset and deep expertise inindirect taxto help position both the business and its initial product offering within the U.S. tax market. This individual will: Help position the company and its cornerstone product within the tax community Leverage existing relationships and contacts across the tax market Engage directly with corporate in-house tax functions Play a key role in introducing and educating the market on a differentiated solution Contribute to early adoption and meaningful impact within corporate tax departments The initial focus will be within the indirect tax arena, with a broader product and service offering across corporate tax over time. This role will also involve gaining a thorough understanding of the company’s differentiated model, enabling effective communication of its value and relevance to the tax community.
