Shift Supervisor

We are looking for a Production Supervisor to plan and coordinate activities in order to meet production goals. The Production Supervisor will also be responsible for training and developing employees in order to maximize productivity and ensuring high quality standards. The right candidate will be an organized, self-motivated individual who works well in a fast-paced environment. Primary Position Requirements: Experience and Qualification At least 1 year of experience managing a work crew Knowledge of food handling and /or food processing procedures Basic computer skills Driver's license required Counting and Math Skills Must be able to count whole numbers and decimals, add, subtract, multiply, and divide, and be able to use whole numbers, decimals and fractions Communication and Basic Writing and Reading Must be able to read, write, and understand English Ability to give clear verbal direction Essential Functions and Attributes: Ensure final product meets quality specifications Ensure that all cleaning & sanitation policies and procedures are being followed Verify completion of all documentation Comply with all Production policies and procedures Ability to Multi-Task Complete Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) training for Supervisor's Efficient in all positions of the Production Line Occasionally test products for pH, Titratable Acidity, and Viscosity Post daily production information in the computer Delegate daily workload among employees Understand mechanical operation of bottling equipment & be able to troubleshoot problems Train employees on company policies and procedures General Responsibilities: Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's) Comply with all policies and procedures set forth by the company Shifts: Starting shift until fulling trained 5:00am to 3:30pm Monday - Thursday and some Friday's Work overtime as required Benefits/Pay Rate: Health, Dental, Vision Insurance first of the month following 60 days waiting period PTO after 90 days Retirement plan after 60 days Holiday Pay after 60-day probation period Pay Range $21 - $26 Job Type: Full-time Pay: $21.00 - $26.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Experience: Supervising: 1 year (Required) Crew management: 1 year (Required) Shift availability: Day Shift (Required) Night Shift (Required) Work Location: In person
