We are looking for a professional Class A CDL Driver to haul agricultural commodities (corn, wheat, oats) and fertilizer across the Upper Midwest.This isn't a typical "follow the GPS" job. You will have the autonomy to find and book your own loads using our established list of Mills and Elevators. If you are a go-getter who knows how to manage a schedule and keep the wheels turning, you will thrive here.Primary ResponsibilitiesHauling & Delivery: Safely transport hopper freight (grains and fertilizer) throughout Wisconsin, Minnesota, South Dakota, and North Dakota.Load Management: Actively use our provided list of Mills and Elevators to secure your own loads and optimize your routes.Equipment Operation: Masterfully operate a manual transmission semi-tractor and manage hopper bottom gate operations.Compliance: Maintain accurate ELD logs and ensure all DOT safety regulations are met.Professionalism: Maintain strong working relationships with elevator managers and mill operators to ensure repeat business.Territory & FreightStates: WI, MN, SD, ND.Commodities: Corn, Wheat, Oats, and Fertilizer.Trailer Type: Hopper Bottom.RequirementsLicense: Valid Class A CDL.Experience: Must be proficient with manual transmissions (18-speed). Previous experience with Hopper Bottoms or Ag-hauling is a major plus.Mindset: Must be self-motivated and capable of managing your own daily dispatch.Clean Record: Must have a solid driving history and meet DOT medical standards.Compensation & PerksCommission-Based Pay: You earn a percentage of every load.
