EPC Project Manager

Job Description – EPC Project ManagerLocation: Jackson, MI or any service centre in Michigan (Hybrid) 15-20% time spent out in field - projects all over the state (Southern portion of the state)Duration: 12+-Month Assignmentrequired quarterly team meeting in Jacksontraining - will need to be in Parnall for trainingDepartment: enterprise project management electric distribution - team of 8managing projects building substations for large customers or high voltage distribution lines and low voltage distribution lines for other customers.Some projects are also to support reliability projects to meet long-term financial plans- they include reliability projects, capacity projects to provide additional electric capacity in various communities around MichiganSome projects are specifically for large customers where we may be building a dedicated substation for a single customermatrixed organization - a lot of coordination/collaboration between engineering, supply chain, field construction support staffKey Responsibilities:managing 6-8 projects, vary in size- project sizes between $2-$10M budget sizesfocus on scope, schedule, budgetget a scope of work to implement on time and on budget and make sure everyone stays safelots of coordination experience, work with multiple personalitiesRequired Skills:4 - 8 years project management experiencestrong substation construction experience preferredneeds construction or utility experience (understand permitting and construction risks that come into play)good communication skills - verbal and writtengood interpersonal skillsbachelor's degreeproject management experienceability to bring a team together and be a good communicator, keep everyone focused and on taskPrimavera P6 software nice to haveUnifier nice to haveSAP nice to haveLean experience/problem solving experience nice to have
