Manager, Post Harvest

Job SummaryThe Post-Harvest Manager is a full-time exempt position responsible for overseeing and executing post-harvest operations including cannabis buck down, curing, sorting, trimming, and related processes. This role requires strong attention to detail, compliance with state regulations, and the ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesOversee all post-harvest processes including buck down, curing, sorting, and trimmingManage testing, allocation, and compliance with state regulationsEnsure accuracy and efficiency of all post-harvest operationsEnforce standard operating procedures (SOPs)Train, supervise, and evaluate post-harvest staffMonitor inventory and product flow to ensure quality and consistencyCollaborate with other departments to meet production and distribution goalsOther duties as assigned by managementMinimum QualificationsMust be at least 21 years of ageMust be able to lift up to 50 poundsMust pass a background check in compliance with state regulationsMust have reliable transportationPreferred QualificationsPhysical and Mental DemandsWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to remain in a stationary position, move and/or position oneself, communicate, operate and/or prepare, place, position objects, tools, or controls. The employee must occasionally move packages weighing up to 50 lb. Able to stand for 90% of the time. Comfortable with heights, occasionally ascends/descends a ladder to service the lights, filters, trellis netting and ceiling fans up to 25ft. Comfortable working atop and traversing scaffolding, when required. Comfortable with changing environment temperatures and humidity. Exposure to pollen, dust, dander, and other nature elements. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close observation and the ability to adjust focus. The employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and the risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
