Job Summary and ResponsibilitiesNorthridge Hospital Medical Center is seeking a skilled and experienced Imaging Tech II /CT Scanner Technician to join our dynamic medical imaging team. As a CT Scan Technologist, you will be responsible for operating CT scanners to produce high-quality diagnostic images for medical interpretation. Join our team and make a difference in patient care through your expertise in computed tomography.Perform CT scans on patients according to physician orders.Monitor patients for any adverse reactions and respond promptly.Collaborate with radiologists and physicians to obtain relevant clinical information for accurate image interpretation.Maintain and troubleshoot CT equipment, ensuring optimal functionality.Adhere to radiation safety protocols and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.Document and record patient information accurately in the electronic medical record system#ImagingTech #Radiology #CTScan #NuclearMedicine #HealthcareHeroesJob RequirementsA minimum of two (2) years of experience in a hospital and radiology department is required.Satisfactory completion of formal radiological technology training in an AMA-approved school or BS or AA degree in Radiological Technology in an AMA-approved school.Cross-training in CT, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, and Mammography is required.License is required as issued by ARRT (national), CRT (state), and Fluoroscopy certification.Certification in one modality is required.Fire Safety card.
