Job OpportunityLooking for general laborers for a busy Tier 1 manufacturing facility in Sterling Heights, MI. Manufacturing bumpers for GM & Chrysler.Shifts:1st shift: 6:00am-2:00pm2nd shift (.75 cent shift premium): 2:00pm-10:00pm5-7 daysPay: $15.50/hour to start (weekly pay)Type: Union shop (full time/permanent)Benefits:B.C.B.S medical/dental/vision2 weeks paid vacationJob RequirementsMust be able to pass a background check. Must be able to stand for up to 10 hours per day. Bend, stretch, lift up to 35 pounds. Prior manufacturing experience a plus.DescriptionPackaging: You will be building boxes up and putting products into boxes. You will be working with labels as well. Then you will be securing boxes to pallets using shrink wrap.Unloader/Loader: You will be taking the bumpers off of the assembly line and placing them on the racks and/or station. The bumpers weight 25-30lbs.Painting/cleaning: You will be painting the trim on the bumpers and wiping them clean.
