Candy Sales Associate

The candy sales and customer service associate position is responsible for maintaining customer service, generating sales, general housekeeping, merchandising, cash register operations (POS) and loss prevention in adherence to all company policies and standards of behavior.Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure that each guest receives outstanding customer service by providing a customer friendly environment, including greeting and acknowledging every guest, maintaining outstanding standards, solid product knowledge and all other components of customer serviceMaintain an awareness of all product information, promotions, upcoming events and advertisementsResponsible for generating sales and cross selling all products and services within The Studer Family of CompaniesEnsure that all food and beverage products are consistently prepared and served according to the recipes, portioning, cooking and serving standardsAssist in floor moves, merchandising, display maintenance and store housekeeping. Keeping the sales floor and restrooms neat, clean and organizedStock and re-stock all candy, ingredients, supplies, and merchandise throughout shiftAdhere to dress code, standards of behavior, all company policies, procedures and practices, including signing, pricing, and loss preventionFollow all opening and closing proceduresAccurately and efficiently complete all sales transactions and maintain proper cash and special promotions at POS registersMay work special events and assist in all other departments; as needed with approval of supervisor(s)Communicate customer requests to managementPerforms all other duties as requested or directedRequirementsMaintain professional attitude and appearance at all timesWell-organized and detail-oriented with all guest servicesRequired to stand, walk, and lift items (up to 25 lbs.) on a regular basisAbility to understand and carry out oral and written instructions and request clarification when neededExcellent communication skillsAbility to work as part of a teamAbility to build relationships with customersEducation & ExperienceHigh school diploma or GED and one to three years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.Physical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
