Job TitleNutrition SpecialistJob DescriptionRole Description:The Nutrition Specialist is a part of the Dotdash Meredith Test Kitchen Team and manages nutrition related projects for Dotdash Meredith digital and print needs.This position provides current nutrition information for departments that utilize the Test Kitchen services. In addition, the Nutrition Specialist develops and tests recipes for all projects, as assigned.This position is fully in-office due to the nature of the work being done.Role ResponsibilitiesWeight % - Accountabilities, Actions and Expected Measurable Results50% - Develop and test recipes, as assigned30% - Manages nutrition related projects and provides nutrition information for digital and print editorial needs20% - Prepares nutritional analysis on recipesRole Requirements Education: Bachelor's degree in Dietetics, Nutrition Education or Food Preparation; Registered Dietitian with the American Dietetic Association; or equivalent work experience. Experience:3 years of experience in the field of nutrition; Test Kitchen or editorial experience preferred.Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Knowledge of food preparation and the proper way to select and store food products. The ability to develop and test recipes to specific dietary needs.
