Controller

Overview We are seeking a skilled Controller to join our team. The Controller will be responsible for assisting the Chief Financial Officer in all financial activities, including financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. Duties - Participate in all aspects of accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions - Perform account reconciliations and ensure accuracy in financial reporting - Conduct financial analysis to support business decisions and strategic planning - Ensure compliance with GAAP accounting standards and regulations such as IFRS - Provide technical accounting guidance to the finance team - Utilize QuickBooks or similar software for financial recordkeeping - Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports Skills - Proficiency in double-entry bookkeeping principles - Strong understanding of account reconciliation processes - Ability to perform detailed financial analysis - Experience with accounts payable processes - Financial acumen and ability to interpret financial data effectively - Knowledge of debits and credits in accounting - Familiarity with technical accounting standards - Understanding of IFRS regulations - Proficiency in QuickBooks or similar accounting software Job Type: Full-time Pay: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Disability insurance Employee assistance program Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Physical Setting: Office Schedule: Monday to Friday Experience: GAAP: 5 years (Preferred) Work Location: In person
