Business Development Specialist – MRI Imaging CenterThe RoleWe are seeking a driven and entrepreneurial Business Development Representative to lead day-to-day sales and accelerate volume growth at an Omaha-area imaging facility. This is a true player-coach position — roughly 30% your time will be spent managing operations, and the other 70% building the referral relationships that fuel our growth.The right candidate will cultivate and own a network of personal injury attorneys, independent providers, direct primary care practices, and community health centers across the Omaha metro. You will play a central role in scaling our MRI volume from approximately 30 to 60+ studies per month. To stay grounded in the patient experience, you'll staff the front desk one day per week.Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness DevelopmentBuild and maintain referral relationships with personal injury attorneys, independent provider offices, direct primary care practices, and community health centers (e.g., OneWorld) across the Omaha metroDevelop and execute a marketing strategy encompassing in-person provider and attorney visits, digital marketing coordination, networking events, and bar association engagementSupport and direct one BD Representative in growing MRI referral volumeTrack and report monthly MRI volume by referral source, revenue, and marketing activityOperations ManagementOversee daily operations including scheduling, patient flow, staff management (2 MRI techs, 2 front desk), and vendor relationshipsStaff the front desk one day per week to maintain a hands-on understanding of patient experience and workflowManage the facility P&L and monthly operating budget (~$30K/month in expenses)Coordinate with radiology partners on report delivery, turnaround times, and quality standardsLead ACR accreditation and obtain commercial health insurance contractsSupport future expansion initiatives including insurance panel credentialing as the business scalesIdeal Candidate3+ years of experience in healthcare business development, imaging center management, or outpatient clinic operationsExisting relationships with personal injury attorneys or healthcare providers in the Omaha/Lincoln market strongly preferredSolid understanding of PI lien-based billing workflows and settlement timelinesDemonstrated track record of building referral pipelines and growing case volumeComfortable leading a small team and managing operational details in a lean environmentExperience with commercial insurance credentialing is a plusSelf-starter who thrives in an entrepreneurial, small-business settingCompensation — Built for AlignmentWe believe the best way to build something exceptional is to share the upside.
