You will have the opportunity to manage Wise’s portfolio of currency risk, develop hedging strategies as well as be involved in broader Treasury functions. You will also have the chance to work with our Cash and Asset Management team to identify and implement yield generating opportunities as well as product teams to enable customer flow.Your MissionManage group-wide FX risks, liquidity trades and projects as part of a Global Markets TeamDedicated focus on hedging activities including our in-house Cross-Correlation Multi-beta Strategy across FX products in the APAC time zoneWork closely with our Data Science team to develop new tooling and hedging strategies for FX risksCollaborate with Treasury Liquidity Operations to optimise funding accounts in Austin/US time zoneManage relationships with international banks and counterparties across Austin/US time zone, negotiating prices and optimising tradesParticipate in initiatives to improve dealing approach, policies, controls, and systemsProvide analysis and reporting on dealing activities, working closely with the cash and asset management team for yield optimisation across fixed income productsSupport new currency and product launches, ensuring efficient risk managementCollaborate with product and risk teams to automate risk management strategies and enhance control frameworksQualifications2+ years of trading experience preferredExperience in a buy/sell side FX dealing environmentsConfident dealing spot, forwards & swaps to manage live exposuresStrong communication skills to maintain and grow relationships with our banks and counterpartiesAdditional InformationNice To Have'sExperience dealing NDFs an added bonusExperience managing customer flow with a broad range of currencies, in particular with Asian FX is an added advantageProficient prioritiser - you make the right decisions on how to allocate time and effortAbility to absorb large quantities of detail quickly and communicate complex ideas to various crowdsOpen approach to problem solving in a fast paced environmentExperience or interactions in the payments industry/fintech spaceExperience with settlements and operating teams will be valuableExperience with Asset Management execution (Bonds, MMFs etc)ACT Qualifications or equivalentFinance / Science / Engineering / Maths graduate preferredExcel, VBA, coding a bonus Python, Java, C++For everyone, everywhere.
