Job Title: Senior Project Manager – Data Center ConstructionLocation: Dallas, TexasCompany Type: Owner-Operator (Hyperscale Data Centers)One of our clients, a leading data center owner-operator delivering large-scale, mission-critical infrastructure for hyperscale clients are looking to add to their existing construction team. With a strong pipeline of developments across key U.S. markets, they are focused on building highly efficient, scalable, and sustainable facilities that support the world’s fastest-growing digital platforms.Seeking a Senior Project Manager – Construction to lead the delivery of hyperscale data center projects in the Dallas market. This individual will be responsible for managing projects from preconstruction through commissioning and handover, ensuring delivery on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards.This role will interface directly with internal development teams, external general contractors, design consultants, and key stakeholders, acting as the owner’s representative throughout the full project lifecycle.Key ResponsibilitiesLead end-to-end delivery of hyperscale data center construction projectsAct as the primary owner’s representative with full accountability for project performanceManage general contractors, subcontractors, and consultants across all phasesOversee project budgets, schedules, and cost controls, ensuring alignment with business objectivesDrive preconstruction activities including design coordination, value engineering, and procurement strategyEnsure adherence to quality standards, commissioning processes (QA/QC & CX), and operational readinessMonitor and enforce health & safety compliance across all site activitiesCoordinate closely with internal stakeholders including development, design, operations, and finance teamsIdentify and mitigate project risks, proactively resolving issues to maintain progressProvide regular reporting to senior leadership on project status, milestones, and key risksQualifications & Experience10+ years of construction project management experience, with a strong focus on mission-critical or hyperscale data center projectsExperience working for an owner/operator, developer, or top-tier general contractor delivering large-scale projectsProven track record managing projects valued at $200M+Strong understanding of MEP systems critical to data center environments (power, cooling, redundancy)Experience managing full lifecycle delivery from preconstruction through commissioning and handoverFamiliarity with QA/QC and commissioning processes in mission-critical environmentsExcellent stakeholder management and communication skillsDegree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferredPreferred ExperienceDirect hyperscale client exposure (e.g., AWS, Microsoft, Google, Meta)Experience delivering projects in the Dallas / Texas marketStrong commercial acumen with experience managing GMP / lump sum contracts
