We have an awesome team of screenwriters and producers so this role would require performing all the technical filming aspects including pre-production, lighting, sound, shooting, and directing. A big part of our success formula is being able to turn around high quality videos quickly so this position requires a multi-talented, self-motivated and resourceful individual that can wear many hats and turn around work super fast. This position often requires working long hours including nights and weekends. Since we are a mission-led company and all of the content we create inspires people, the right candidate will find the long hours to be exciting and highly satisfying!How You’ll Spend Your TimePreparing with floor plans/shot lists to maintain an efficient setAssisting with blocking, operating cameras and other equipmentPerforming all the technical aspects of filming. Set up shots, operate camera and pull focusManaging camera equipment and recommending new equipment to enhance production valueShooting in a creative way to help build emotion, increase tension and deliver greater payoff of the message for the audienceRun lines and directing actors on set to deliver their best performances and carry out the necessary emotion required while also keeping the production on time Review actor wardrobe for brand safetyMaintain continuity of production with help of crewManaging many moving pieces in a high pressure environment with the calmness of a seasoned professionalWorking in a high pressure but fun environment while leading your crew throughoutWhat You Have3 years experience directing and shooting narrative content utilizing actors and various locationsBackground in digital media, cinematography, film studies or related fieldAbility to work in a fast paced environment on a wide variety of projectsAbility to learn quickly and is a team playerAbility to take constructive feedback in order to improve in a positive directionAbility to keep a positive attitude under pressureSkilled in handling quick output without losing qualityWho Oversees YouThe Director, Shooter reports directly to the Production Junior ManagerWho You OverseeCurrently, the Director, Shooter has no personnel reporting directly to him or herWhere It All Goes DownAll things creative take place at our studio in Burbank, CA!
