Warehouse Supervisor - 3rd Shift
What You'll Do:
Manage Daily Assignments
Log daily warehouse activities
Suggest possible process improvements
Work with auditors to ensure that guidelines and procedures are always followed
Train and follow up with employees
Administer disciplinary action to direct reports
Inspection of Warehouse
Ensure that the warehouse is always clean and free from injuries
Ensure that the quality, rotation and accuracy policies are always adhered to
Manage shift change to ensure that they are carried out in an efficient and timely fashion
Follow-up with Shipping Documents
Ensure that accurate timely processing of documents occurs
coach employees who need help
Assisting DC Manager in Security and Fire Safety Issues
Supervisory Responsibilities:
9-12 Direct Reports
0 Indirect Reports
Requirements for Success:
4-year degree or equivalent experience in any of the following: Supervision, Business, Management
2 - 4 years Supervisory experience in a warehousing or plant environment
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Excellent Communication skills – written & verbal
Independent thinking with the ability to make decisions quickly
Sense of urgency coupled with the ability to proactively solve problems
Must display initiative and ingenuity
On the job training regarding Training by HACCP Coordinator
Teamwork
