Your role will be vital in creating a fun, inclusive, and educational atmosphere that encourages curiosity and growth.ResponsibilitiesLead engaging coding classes and workshops tailored to different age groups and skill levelsDevelop creative lesson plans that incorporate hands-on activities, projects, and real-world applicationsManage classroom behavior effectively to ensure a positive learning environment for all studentsProvide individualized support and tutoring to help students overcome challenges and achieve their goalsIncorporate principles of childhood development, early childhood education, and behavior management into your teaching approachFoster a safe space by applying first aid procedures when necessary and ensuring student well-being at all timesCollaborate with parents, guardians, or camp coordinators to communicate student progress and address any concernsQualificationsProven experience in teaching, tutoring, or mentoring children or students in a classroom or camp settingStrong understanding of programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, or similar coding platformsKnowledge of classroom management techniques and behavior management strategiesExperience working with children with diverse needs, including special education or early childhood education backgrounds preferredAbility to demonstrate patience, creativity, and enthusiasm while working with young learnersCertifications in first aid or child safety are a plus but not mandatoryAt least 15 years or olderJoin us as a Code Sensei to ignite curiosity and empower young minds through the exciting world of coding!
