Regional Construction Senior Project Manager
What this job involves: The Regional Project Manager role focuses on leading large-scale construction projects with heavy emphasis on ground-up construction for enterprise, consumer goods, and services clients. You will manage cross-functional teams across a large geographic area, overseeing multiple projects simultaneously through all phases of development. The position requires comprehensive oversight from land acquisition and feasibility studies through design, construction, and closeout, while tracking project financials, schedules, and deliverables to meet or exceed established goals.Your day-to-day tasks will include:Managing multiple concurrent projects including renovations, building infrastructure upgrades, large remodels, and new construction with heavy focus on ground-up constructionLeading ground-up construction projects through all phases: due diligence and land acquisition, feasibility studies, design development, planning and zoning review, pre-construction, construction, and closeoutEvaluating site feasibility during transaction phases, assessing physical, environmental, regulatory, and financial factorsDirecting technical and financial analysis to determine project scope, budget parameters, schedule requirements, and risk factorsCoordinating with architects, engineers, and consultants to develop construction documents that meet project objectives and budget requirementsManaging municipal approval processes, regulatory compliance, contractor selection, subcontractor procurement, and value engineeringOverseeing construction operations including schedule management, quality control, budget tracking, change order processing, and safety complianceProviding weekly project activity updates to Team Lead on schedule, risks, budget status, and cash flow using JLL technology platformsDeveloping risk management plans and guiding teams through work authorization processes to prevent impacts in critical environmentsPreparing comprehensive project documentation including charters, due diligence reports, budgets, schedules, meeting minutes, funding requests, status reports, and punch lists in accordance with pre-established formatsManaging vendors to ensure compliance with all project policies and procedures, ensuring project closeout within 90 days of completion including inspections, commissioning, warranty documentation, and client handoverDesired experience and skills:Requirements:Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or related field10-20 years of project management experience covering all aspects of design and constructionProven experience with project scope development, budgeting, scheduling, risk management, and contract negotiationsProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, project scheduling software, and web-based applicationsFamiliarity with architectural drawings, furniture/fixtures/equipment specifications, design and space planning concepts, and construction costs and schedulesPreferred:Master's degree in related fieldArchitecture, Engineering, or Project Management certificationLEED CertificationPMP CertificationTravel Requirements: This role will require up to 60% travel within assigned portfolio.
