Engineering Applications Developer
What This Person Will DoAutomate and customize CAD systems to improve engineering workflows and reduce manual work.Develop APIs, scripts, and software tools using C#/.NET or Python.Support and administer engineering applications, including CAD and PLM tools.Build and maintain integrations between engineering applications and business systems such as ERP or CRM.Troubleshoot application and integration issues with users, internal IT teams, and software vendors.Support software upgrades, deployments, and application improvements.Create basic technical documentation and user guides.Must-Have QualificationsProven experience automating or customizing a CAD system. SolidWorks is preferred, but Creo or another major CAD platform is acceptable.Hands-on programming experience with C#/.NET or Python scripting for API development.Ability to understand engineering design workflows and identify opportunities for automation.Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Clear communication skills and the ability to work with engineering users and technical teams.Preferred QualificationsExperience supporting or administering CAD, PLM, CAE, KBE, ERP, or similar engineering/manufacturing systems.Experience integrating engineering applications with other enterprise systems.SolidWorks design or administration experience.Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.Experience in a consulting or customer-facing environment.
