This individual will be responsible for overseeing daily departmental operations, driving service excellence, managing team performance, and ensuring efficient workflows across the commercial lines function. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with deep commercial insurance knowledge who can balance client service priorities with team development and operational efficiency.Key Responsibilities:Department Leadership & Team ManagementOversee the day-to-day operations of the Commercial Lines service teamLead, mentor, and develop Client Service Representatives and Account ManagersEstablish performance expectations, conduct evaluations, and provide ongoing coaching and feedbackSupport hiring, onboarding, and training of new team membersFoster a collaborative, accountable, and high-performing team cultureClient Service ExcellenceEnsure consistent delivery of high-quality service to all commercial insurance clientsServe as escalation point for complex client issues, coverage questions, and service-related concernsPartner with Producers to support client retention, relationship management, and growth initiativesMonitor client satisfaction and implement service enhancements as neededOperational Management & Workflow OptimizationDevelop, implement, and maintain efficient workflows, procedures, and service standardsOversee the timely processing of renewals, endorsements, certificates, cancellations, and policy servicing activitiesIdentify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and team productivityMaintain compliance with agency procedures, carrier guidelines, and regulatory requirementsAccount & Policy OversightDirect renewal strategy and execution to ensure timelines and quality standards are achievedReview complex accounts, marketing submissions, and coverage placementsSupport the team with carrier negotiations, quoting strategies, and policy interpretationEnsure accuracy and completeness of policy documentation and client recordsCross-Functional CollaborationPartner with Sales and Producers to align service delivery with growth objectivesWork closely with Finance and Operations teams on billing, reporting, and system optimizationSupport agency leadership with reporting, metrics, and strategic initiativesPerform other duties as assignedQualifications:Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience preferredActive Property & Casualty license required5+ years of Commercial Lines insurance experience required, including prior leadership or supervisory responsibilitiesStrong knowledge of commercial insurance coverages, markets, and carriersDemonstrated ability to lead teams, optimize workflows, and drive operational resultsProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and agency management systems; Applied Epic preferredExcellent communication, leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities with exceptional attention to detailAbility to travel approximately 25% as neededAbility to pass a criminal background check, as permitted by lawSchedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pmOffice Location: 852 West Bartlett Road, Bartlett, IL 60103 (Hybrid Work Options)Benefits:Competitive SalaryHealth Insurance Plans (PPO, HSA, Copay Options)Dental InsuranceVision InsuranceCompany Paid Disability InsuranceSupplemental Insurance including Critical Illness, Accident, Legal, Pet Insurance401(k) with Safe Harbor MatchPaid Time Off Paid HolidaysNo Solicitation Notification to Agencies: Please note that Keystone and our Partner Agencies do not accept unsolicited resumes or calls from third-party recruiters or employment agencies.
