VP Strategic Finance/FP&A - Alternative Investment Fund

Our elite global Alternative Investment Fund client is seeking to recruit a VP Strategic Finance/FP&A oversee firmwide strategic financial planning and analysis and support strategic finance across a variety of investment strategies.Responsibilities:Oversee firmwide strategic financial planning and analysis and support strategic finance across a variety of investment strategiesDevelop long-term strategic financial planning, forecasting, capital planning and capital allocation initiativesOversee financial modeling, scenario analysis, model integration and financial performance analysisAnalyze profitability, expense allocations, fee arrangements and revenue driversAnalyze and synthesize complex financial data, create dashboards and analyze performance metrics (KPIs) to track investment returns, capital deployment and AUM growthBuild clear narratives and present metrics and insights to senior managementAnalyze strategic initiatives such as new product launches, fund structures and M&A activityCollaborate effectively with operations, investment teams and capital markets teams on funding, pricing, strategic transactions and firmwide planning initiativesDevelop best practices, automation initiatives and drive analytical and reporting process improvementsAssist with firmwide strategic and ad hoc finance projectsRequirements:Bachelor's Degree with strong academic record of achievementCFA, CPA or MBA preferred4+ years of strategic financial planning and analysis (FP&A) experience in the alternative investment, alternative credit, asset management or global financial industryDemonstrated knowledge of alternative credit products and strategiesKnowledge of insurance investment strategies strongly preferredAdvanced hands-on financial modeling skills mandatoryDemonstrated financial forecasting and capital planning skillsAbility to support business decision making for complex multi-entity structuresFundamental knowledge of capital structures, alternative investment strategies and performance analysisDemonstrated ability to analyze and synthesize complex financial data and present clear and actionable insights and metrics to senior managementAdvanced Excel and PowerPoint skillsHigh level of integrity, confidentiality, critical thinking and problem solving skillsHighly motivated and detail orientedAdvanced communication, interpersonal, business writing and presentation skills
